Kim Lowe, SOS America military liaison and military spouse extraordinaire, does a great job supporting military spouses and promoting the romance genre with her newsletter, book and promo item giveways, and care packages sent to the troops. For her SOS America October newsletter celebrating the US Navy Birthday, I’ve penned a short article on my days as a Navy wife and how it led me into becoming a romance writer. You can find “Anchors Aweigh” on the Little Extra page. Thanks again to Kim for her diligent work on behalf of military families; an extra special thanks to all those in uniformed service to our nation! (Also hugs to the Air Force fans disappointed by Navy’s 16-13 win in the annual USNA-AFA football game last Saturday; great game but I am glad Navy won!)
