The UK cover for Rogue’s Lady

What’s in a…color?  Speaking of the UK page, I’ve just gotten a look at the cover of the UK release for Rogue’s Lady. If you’ll compare that to the North American one, you’ll see they’ve changed the color of Allegra’s dress from turquoise to green and showed all, rather than part, of her face.

I must admit, being accustomed to the blue dress, the green looks odd to me.  What do you think?

  1. I like the fact that we can see her face in entirity. Is that the right word???
Good cover no matter what color the dress. Green stands out more. Anyway, it’ll sell no matter what color. It has your name on it. What can I say???

A cover is the first thing that will get me to look at a book (unless its a review I liked by a friend…) That said I like blue but it would not have drawn me as well as the green dressed with face cover.

Very nice in green, and in blue. Just a bit darker in either color would really be nice, but I know how hard it is to get such things to happen to covers.

I’ve always loved green, but the question is always WHICH green? Brunettes look gorgeous in dark green, if bluish tinged and not yellowish. Could they maybe make it darker- not quite forest green? Too dark and it would vanish.

  5. I prefer the green dress cover. Not only because of the color but because we can see her face. It’s interesting to see the comparisons, but it makes me wonder why they felt the need to change the color of her dress?

I like the both colours but being able to see her face makes it better. Shame they did not print a picture of the hero of the story as well.
